I know there's not much here yet - but there will be some epic games posted here in the near future!

Short Bio:

I've been playing games since around age 4 and have been a fan of them ever since. I got into music production in my early teen years and have been pursuing a career in that but always felt I needed to make games too.

My Passion for Games:

I feel like I can contribute something unique to the gaming community - something that I feel could energize you to want to get back out into the real world instead of getting dragged down by depression (trust me I've been there and still struggle with this sometimes).

My Progression in Game Development:

I have been researching game development for many years but still haven't gotten myself to actually build a game. I know, it sounds crazy... Why do I expect to make a meaningful game with no commercial games under my belt? Well I think I'll get there soon. I've studied 3D ArchVis for 3DS Max and moved over to Blender and Unreal Engine to bring those 3D creations to life and I'm continually researching new technologies, techniques and doing the courses I can find time to do to put these dreams for game development into reality.

What should you expect?

For now, I've started with a number of small games so that I can hone my skills within the above mentioned software packages and fields. In 2022 I assembled a small team of like minded and passionate people that are currently helping me to bring my larger scope ideas into fruition (more on this soon!). If all goes well, you should expect to see some fun small games that I made from testing certain features of the software, some based on tutorials by Gamedev.tv and ultimately within a few years the larger scope games. The idea is to release Non-DRM copies here on Itch.io (with the lack of Steam Features of Course) and to post Steam Integrated versions on Steam (Makes sense right?).

Where can you get content RIGHT NOW??

I've actively been updating my Fulsurkel Multimedia website and I've been working very hard on videos for my YouTube Channel 'DJDeon0 Gaming' with some cool content centered but not limited around vehicles in games such as Forza Horizon 4, Re-Volt and many more to come! There's a bunch of cool Co-Op videos featuring some of my mates and fellow game developers. (Watch This Space!)

**quick update - the website's hosting service unfortunately had a major database corruption in the first week of January 2024 which resulted in the loss of my website and all of it's backups. Don't fret - a new website is in the pipeline.

Feel free to follow my journey into game dev (as well as other things such as music production).

Appendix:

Have a splendid time doing what you do. If you have a dream, don't give it up. Work on it bit by bit everyday if possible. Start with what you have.

Remember, the journey is the part where we learn the most and should thus enjoy it the most. It's such a privilege to be alive.
